Rural Surveyor​/Land Agent

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for an experienced RICS-qualified Rural Surveyor / Land Agent to join a well-established rural property practice in the Northallerton area.

This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary of £46,000 per year for the right candidate.

You will take full ownership of your own portfolio, working directly with landlords, tenants, contractors and external stakeholders to deliver comprehensive rural estate and land agency services.

The role calls for someone who is commercially aware, highly organised and confident managing a varied workload independently.

• Monday to Friday, standard office hours.

• Manage a diverse portfolio of rural estates, agricultural property and land.
• Advise clients on landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, tenancy agreements and lease renewals.
• Undertake rural property valuations, agency instructions and portfolio reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and external organisations.
• Prepare reports, correspondence and documentation to a high professional standard.
• Work autonomously to prioritise and deliver projects on time and to budget.

• RICS qualified (MRICS) - essential.
• Proven experience as a Land Agent, Rural Surveyor or in a closely related rural property role.
• Strong understanding of rural estates, agricultural property and land management.
• Solid knowledge of landlord and tenant law and practice.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Candidates will have a background in land agency, rural surveying, agricultural property management or rural estate management, with a track record of handling their own caseload and delivering strong client service in a professional rural practice environment.
