Area Sales Engineer – Industrial Electrical Control & Automation

• Sell high‑quality industrial automation products (PLC, control gear, switch gear, circuit protection, variable speed drives, sensors, HMI, process instrumentation) to OEM, end‑user, system integrator and panel builder markets across South Yorkshire and parts of Derbyshire.
• Achieve defined sales targets and develop a personal plan to meet objectives.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts while continuously seeking new business opportunities.
• Maintain excellent organisational and communication skills and work effectively as part of a team while enjoying a degree of autonomy.
• Use Microsoft Office packages proficiently.

• Sales and technical experience in the industrial automation industry with a proven track record of sales success.
• Formal qualification in an electrical/electronic discipline (ONC/HND or above) is desirable but not essential.
• Strong sales skills and knowledge of the sector; ability to demonstrate understanding of technical products and customer needs.
• Good organisational and communication skills, effective team player, self‑motivated and autonomous.
