About the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Advisor, to join a growing business. This Business Development Advisor role would suit someone with experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, or a Warm Desk environment who enjoys building relationships and generating new opportunities.
As a Business Development Advisor, you will work within a Warm Desk, speaking with existing and prospective clients to identify opportunities and support business growth. This Business Development role combines B2B Sales activity with account development, helping to maintain strong client relationships while generating new business.
The successful Business Development Advisor will be confident communicating by phone and email, managing leads, and supporting ongoing B2B Sales campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in Business Development while working within a supportive Warm Desk environment.
Key responsibilities- Generate new business opportunities through proactive Business Development activity
- Manage and develop leads within a Warm Desk environment
- Build relationships with existing and prospective B2B Sales customers
- Contact clients by telephone and email to discuss products and services
- Qualify leads and identify Business Development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records using the CRM system
- Support B2B Sales campaigns and marketing activities
- Handle inbound and outbound enquiries professionally
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve Business Development targets
- Contribute to the continued growth of the business
- Previous experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Telesales, or a Warm Desk role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
- Self-motivated and target driven approach
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport
