Kitchen & Bathroom Design Consultant
We are hiring a Kitchen & Bathroom Design/Sales Consultant on a full‑time basis. Join us to help customers design and create spaces that truly make a difference in their homes. From the first conversation in our showroom to visiting them at home, you’ll guide customers through the process with care, understanding what matters to them, offering product advice, and using your design knowledge to bring their ideas to life.
WorkingHours & Rota Pattern
- Shift structure: 5 days per week (3 weekday shifts + 2 weekend shifts).
- Weekend off: includes one full weekend off every month.
- Deliver our full Wickes customer journey: in-store, virtual, or at a customer’s home, treating every customer with the same attention.
- Turn prospects into customers by finding the best solutions for space and budget, and proactively generate leads within your showroom.
- Create inspiring designs, present and refine ideas using our design tools, and collaborate with customers.
- Look after the showroom by maintaining displays and upholding our high standards.
- Stay organised and proactive, keeping customers updated and consistently communicating progress.
- Stay compliant with all company policies and regulations, including finance, GDPR, and health & safety.
- Customer‑focused: excellent listening skills and enjoyment in building trusted relationships.
- Sales driven and results‑minded: experienced in consultative selling, motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets while doing what’s right.
- Creative and practical: able to envision possibilities in a space and turn ideas into workable solutions.
- Calm and confident: handle challenges professionally and keep things moving forward.
- Organised and proactive: take ownership, stay detail‑oriented, and get things done.
- Industry savvy: keep up with latest trends and understand the local market.
- Desirable experience with design tools; proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop or similar is an advantage.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for customer visits.
- Competitive salary plus uncapped commission, including guaranteed commission during training.
