Business Development Manager (BDM) - York

Full-time. Compensation: GBP 35,875 per year, with OTE £53,875 uncapped. Car allowance optional as part of the package. This role is with Yell, a leading local digital marketing partner with a history of supporting local businesses.

Key notes from leadership: the Field Sales team collaborates as a supportive, high-performing group focused on delivering results.

• Hunt for new business: proactively prospect through self-sourced and company-provided leads to open doors to new clients.
• Tailor solutions: conduct face-to-face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and offer tailored digital marketing solutions.
• Close deals: present, negotiate, and seal deals with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth.
• Client management: nurture relationships and provide a seamless customer experience with ongoing account management for up to 12 months post-sale.
• Data analysis: perform in-depth reviews to identify growth opportunities, boost client ROI, and deliver long-term success.

• Proven track record of success in sales (field sales or high-performing telesales).
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Resilience and a positive outlook in overcoming objections.
• Excellent presentation skills—verbal and written.
• Experience in solution selling or SaaS is desirable but not essential.
• A full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
