Junior Investment Broker

We are looking for an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Private Client Sales Executive to join our growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a business development and telesales position, focused on engaging with private clients over the telephone and introducing them to opportunities within the premium spirits investment market, with a particular focus on tequila investments. The successful candidate will be confident speaking with clients, commercially aware, resilient and motivated by targets and earning potential.

This is not a passive account-management role — you will be expected to proactively identify opportunities, make high volumes of outbound calls and develop relationships with prospective private clients. What You'll Be Doing Making approximately 100 outbound calls per day to prospective and existing private clients. Generating new business through proactive telephone-based sales activity. Speaking confidently with high-net-worth and private clients about tequila and alternative investment opportunities.

Building rapport and developing strong, professional client relationships over the phone. Qualifying prospects and identifying their requirements, interests and investment objectives. Managing the sales process from initial contact through to conversion. Following up consistently with prospects to maximise conversion opportunities. Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activity. Working towards and consistently achieving individual and team sales targets. Using CRM systems to manage leads, pipeline and follow-up activity.

Staying up to date with the company's products, market developments and investment propositions. Working collaboratively with the wider sales team to maximise business development opportunities. About You We are looking for someone who is comfortable selling over the phone and thrives in a target-driven environment. You should have:
Proven telesales or outbound sales experience. A confident, professional and persuasive telephone manner. The resilience and motivation to make high volumes of outbound calls every day. A strong commercial instinct and genuine desire to win new business. The ability to build trust and rapport quickly with prospective clients. Excellent communication and listening skills. Strong objection-handling and closing abilities. A competitive, target-driven attitude.

Excellent organisation and follow-up skills. The confidence to speak to clients about premium products and investment opportunities. A professional approach when dealing with private clients. This role is suited to someone who genuinely enjoys telephone-based business development. You will be expected to maintain a high level of daily activity, including around 100 outbound calls per day. We are looking for people who are energised by picking up the phone, starting conversations, handling objections and creating opportunities.

If you prefer a role where leads come to you and the phone rarely rings, this position is unlikely to be the right fit.
