Commercial Account Executive Salary Circa £28,000 + (dependant on experience) Full Time position,Permanent Contract

Location:

Thirsk, York or Boston Spa Monday – Friday 9:00 – 17:00 with 1 hour for lunch or 4 days per week 8:30 – 17:30 with 30min lunch

We're looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Account Executive to join a supportive and collaborative environment within a growing team of 24 across 3 sites. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, identifying opportunities to support clients, and delivering exceptional service while developing a successful portfolio of business.

• Managing and growing a portfolio of commercial and rural clients.
• Building long‑term relationships through regular client contact and reviews.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional solutions that meet clients' needs.
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
• Developing new business through referrals, networking and local market opportunities.
• Ensuring clients receive professional service and support throughout their NFU Mutual journey.

• Previous experience in account management, client relationship management, insurance, financial services, or a customer-facing sales role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for building trusted relationships.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to achieving objectives.
