Part-Time Business Development Coordinator | Selby, North Yorkshire

Looking for a flexible, part-time role where you can use your communication and organisational skills?

We are recruiting a part-time Business Development Coordinator on behalf of HAD-COPY, an independent workplace technology business based in Selby.

HOURS & WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
  • £15.00 per hour plus performance-related bonuses
  • Approximately 10-12 hours per week, initially across two days
  • Flexible daytime hours, with a school-hours-friendly pattern
  • Fully office-based in Selby initially
  • Potential for hybrid working in the future
  • Opportunity to increase to three days per week and take on additional responsibilities as the business grows
ABOUT

THE ROLE

As a Business Development Coordinator, you'll contact businesses across Selby, York and Yorkshire to introduce HAD-COPY, learn about their current office equipment needs and identify opportunities for the sales team to follow up.

You'll also research businesses and keep customer information accurate and up to date in the CRM system.

This is a relationship-focused role, not high-pressure telesales. The aim is to arrange worthwhile appointments with businesses that may benefit from HAD-COPY's services.

Quality conversations and accurate information matter more than making a high volume of calls.

You'll work closely with the people running and developing the business, in a small, supportive team where your contribution can make a real difference.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • A friendly, confident and professional telephone manner
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • The ability to ask questions, build rapport and understand customer needs
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence using computers, online systems and databases
  • A reliable, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in business development, appointment setting, customer service, sales support or CRM administration would be useful, but previous sales experience is not essential.
