Location: South Yorkshire
Leading Software House is looking for a Lead Developer / Software Team Leader (hands‑on) to be a lead member of a growing development team as they continue to update and take their software to market. There are plans to build a team around this C# developer position with opportunities to move into management if desired.
Responsibilities- Lead one of our Agile/Scrum teams, reporting into the Head of Development.
- 80/20 split between development and team leadership.
- Team leadership responsibilities, including wellbeing, hiring/firing, sickness, personal development, and work allocation.
- Influence how technology is developed moving forward.
- Passionate about software development via Web API / ASP.NET C# MVC / Xamarin / Mobile.
- Experience as a Tech Lead / Senior Developer and ability to influence technology directions.
- Team leader / management experience.
- Experience with C# development.
- Ability to work full‑time five days a week in the office.
- Free car parking.
- Flexible start/finish times.
- Commuter support from Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield and the wider South Yorkshire/East Midlands area. Accessible by public transport.
