The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the York area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.
ShiftsRun across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time).
Hours- Bulk runs - Days /Afternoon.
- Trunk - Late Afternoons/nights.
- Bulk - £15.36 per hour PAYE.
- Trunk - £17.50 rising to £18.25 between 10pm - 6am.
York, YO42.
Job TypeTemporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing.
The Role- Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
- Bulk - average of 15- 20 drops/collections, drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months minimum experience required
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
