I’m delighted to be recruiting for my Client based in York, YO19 for experienced Warehouse Operatives join their expanding Team.

The Role

You will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, stock is managed correctly, and all products are handled safely and efficiently for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking:
Select and prepare customer orders accurately and on time for delivery.
Quality Control:
Check products to ensure they meet required quality standards and reject any items that do not.
Stock Management:
Replenish pick fixtures safely and follow strict stock rotation procedures.
Goods Handling:
Assist with receiving, storing, loading and unloading stock as required.
Safety & Cleanliness:
Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and free from obstacles while following all health and safety procedures.
Work as part of a team to achieve daily targets and maintain an efficient warehouse operation.
Requirements & Skills

Previous warehouse/order picking experience.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
A reliable and positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to carry out manual handling duties safely.
Shifts

I have 2 shift patterns available detailed below both working Sunday to Thursday

Shift 1                 1500 – 2300

Shift 2                 2100 – 0600

Payrate

Sunday is paid at £15.00 per hour

Monday to Thursday is paid at £13.50 per hour

Overtime is payable at £15.00 per hour through the week
