PWM is seeking an Accountant who is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly with inventory, cost accounting, and production-related financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Assist in preparing management reports and KPIs
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead
- Maintain accurate inventory valuation and support cycle counts and audits
- Support standard costing processes and variance analysis
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation (completed) is strongly preferred
- 5-10+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments (strongly preferred)
- Experience with cost accounting and inventory management
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
