Accountant, Financial Reporting, Cost Accountant

PWM is seeking an Accountant who is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly with inventory, cost accounting, and production-related financial processes.

• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
• Assist in preparing management reports and KPIs
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation and support cycle counts and audits
• Support standard costing processes and variance analysis

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation (completed) is strongly preferred
• 5-10+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments (strongly preferred)
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory management
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
