Packer​/Tractor Operators

GIP Potzus Paving Services include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.

We are currently hiring Packer Operators for road construction projects located between Melville and Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan. This position operates on a shift schedule typically consisting of 10 days on and 4 days off, with extended daily hours during active shifts. Previous flagging experience is considered an asset; however, training will be provided to suitable candidates. We are also hiring Packer Operators.

Equipment experience is preferred, and competency will be evaluated.

• Control and direct traffic in active construction zones
• Set up and relocate traffic control signage and delineators
• Perform general construction labour duties as required
• Operate packer equipment (for qualified applicants)
• Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and procedures

• Previous flagging experience is an asset
• Experience operating packer equipment (for operator applicants)
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
