4-step grid based on experience for Emergency Physicians with FRCPC or CCFP-EM. A Full-time position is 1440 hours per contract year.

Job Description  The community of Yorkton, located in the Southeast portion of the province is seeking a team-orientated and professional emergency medicine physician to join the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. As part of the Emergency Medicine team, you will be responsible for providing clinical medical services to individuals presenting to the emergency department, including trauma, stroke, and pediatric care. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
Relocation Package  The successful candidate may be eligible for (depending on program requirements and eligibility):
The SMA Retention Fund , which provides financial reward to physicians who practise in the province for extended periods ranging from $7,000 to $14,000 per year
Job Qualifications   Fellow or eligible for fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in emergency medicine  OR  be certified or eligible for certification with Canadian College of Family Medicine Physicians in emergency medicine
Regular or provisional licence with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (or eligible to be licensed)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Valid driver’s licence
Successful Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
