Description:

Physicians will bill the Medical Services Branch for services rendered and will be remunerated as per the terms set forth by the Ministry of Health – Medical Services Branch.

My Optimal Health Clinic in Yorkton is seeking a family physician to join their team of one family physician and one psychiatrist. The clinic is modern, staffed, and located directly across from the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.

The successful candidate will work as a fee-for-service physician in the clinic and have the opportunity to participate in regional services such as emergency room, hospitalist, long-term care, etc.

The successful candidate may be eligible for the SMA Retention Fund, which provides a financial reward to physicians practicing in the province for extended periods, ranging from $7,000 to $14,000.

• Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
• Regular or provisional license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (or eligible to be licensed).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Recommended:
  Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) credentialing, including acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
• Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage.
