Job Description
The community of Yorkton is seeking dedicated Family Physicians to join our dynamic Primary Health Care Team. These positions offer a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive primary care within an innovative, multi-disciplinary environment focused on patient-centered care. As part of our clinic team, you will provide a combination of primary care services, long term care (including rounding and on-call) and walk-in clinic services.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in addictions medicine, regional emergency room coverage and hospitalist services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement, team-based care, and patient access, and may assume care of an existing patient panel if available.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) values education and partners with the University of Saskatchewan to support medical students, residents, and allied health professionals. Physicians are encouraged to contribute to teaching and academic initiatives, with support for obtaining a University of Saskatchewan appointment.
