EAs support student learning in the classroom environment and other educational settings. These dynamic individuals support teachers and school teams inmeeting the diverse learning needs of students. EAs are valuable members of a team which collaborates to promote student learning, well-being and success.

• This position is a temporary part-time position of 3.0 hours/day in accordance with the Educational Assistant school calendar.
• The position commences August 27, 2026 and expires June 29, 2027 with the work schedule to be determined later on. This is determined by the principal and student services. Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.

• Work closely with students to meet their diverse learning goals.
• Provide assistance to students with mobility needs and/or who require personal care.
• Assist the classroom teacher to support learning withall students in the classroom.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information pertaining to a child, classroom and the school.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designate and those listed in Job Description - Educational Assistant

• Minimum Grade 12 Diplomaor equivalent.
• Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.
• Knowledge of and experience with indigenous ways of knowing, living, and being are a strong asset.

• The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $21.00 - $25.79 plus applicable vacation pay.
