Temporary Part‑time position:
August 10, 2026 to June 25, 2027 (540 hours/90 days)
The Teaching & Learning Mentor provides instructional mentorship and support to staff to ensure successful, consistent course delivery and appropriate blended learning models are implemented. This includes support in Blue Brightspace, Microsoft 365, and other learning technologies. The mentor is responsible for supporting programs in course administration, design, creation, and evaluation, assisting the Teaching and Learning team in preparing and implementing staff training and student resources.
The incumbent also mentors staff and liaises with other program areas to provide support in course development, design, and recommendations for internal and external projects.
- Bachelor of Education degree and a Professional Teaching Certificate.
- Minimum five years of experience teaching in a blended format.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, including a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution and demonstrated experience in instructional design, development for online education, multimedia training, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience working with people from equity groups in a cross‑cultural setting.
- Demonstrated experience instructing using technology.
