Replacement Teacher

Position: Full-Time Replacement Teacher
The Good Spirit School Division is seeking a Full-Time Replacement Teacher for Yorkdale Central School in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. This role includes teaching Grade 8 Math, Careers, Health, and possibly Phys Ed or Science.

The position is a 1.0 FTE replacement contract running from August 26, 2026, to June 29, 2027. Successful candidates will hold a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate and have a Bachelor of Education. Essential skills include strong interpersonal abilities, emotional intelligence, and the capacity to handle diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Grade 8 Math and Health subjects

• Instruct Careers and potentially Phys Ed or Science

• Develop lesson plans catering to diverse learners

• Foster a positive classroom environment

• Communicate effectively with students and parents

Requirements:

• Eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate

• Bachelor of Education degree from an accredited institution
