High School PAA Teaching Opportunities

The Good Spirit School Division provides educational opportunities to approximately 6,300 students operating 27 schools in 15 communities throughout East Central Saskatchewan. We invite applications for PAA teachers who are looking to work in GSSD for the  School Year. Applications to specific communities can be made as part of the application process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate preferred.
• A Provisional Teaching Certificate with the Province of Saskatchewan may be acquired for applicants with Journeyperson Certification.
• A Reflective Practitioner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A high degree of emotional intelligence combined with a growth mindset.
• Ability to manage diverse learning and behavioural needs.

Interviews will be conducted upon application. Please note that GSSD may contact informal references not listed in your application package.

Applicants will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
