Position: Flexible Educational Assistant with GSSD
Join the Good Spirit School Division as a Flexible Educational Assistant to support diverse student needs across East-Central Saskatchewan. Help create safe, engaging learning environments wherever you are needed.

In this casual role, your primary focus will be on ensuring that students, especially those with special needs, receive the encouragement and support they require. Flexibility is key as you will take assignments as necessary, working to empower students and engage in physically demanding tasks like lifting and transfers. Collaboration with other staff and independent work will both play a part in your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with special needs for empowerment

• Build strong learning foundations in diverse environments

• Perform tasks requiring physical effort, including lifting

• Work effectively as part of a team or independently

• Complete other assigned educational duties

Requirements:

• At least Grade 12 or relevant training/experience

• Essential interpersonal and communication skills

• Patience and enjoyment when working with children

• Commitment to maintaining a positive learning space

• Valid criminal record and vulnerable sector check required
