Coordinator of Community Engagement

Become the Coordinator of Community Engagement at Suncrest College, located in Yorkton, SK. This full-time position involves fostering student success and community partnerships through diverse engagement initiatives.

You will enhance student experiences by coordinating initiatives that connect them to important resources. The role emphasizes collaboration with Indigenous communities and external partners, as well as providing support that may require travel to First Nation areas. Deliver services in person and remotely to meet the needs of students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement culturally relevant engagement strategies

• Support students in overcoming transitional barriers

• Forge strong relationships with community agencies and partners

• Plan joint engagement activities with local stakeholders

• Provide services tailored to student accessibility

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields required

• At least one year of coordination or learner support experience

• Ability to effectively apply educational background in practical ways
