Teach Indigenous Studies part-time at Suncrest College in Yorkton. This contractual role aims to deliver impactful education on Indigenous culture and diversity beginning immediately.
This position runs until April 30, 2027, with a total of 120 hours of teaching. The courses include INDG 100 and CLTR 200, focusing on essential concepts in Indigenous Studies. Classes will be scheduled on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, allowing for flexible arrangements that benefit both students and the instructor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons on Indigenous topics
• Create course outlines and materials
• Encourage cross-cultural dialogue among students
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods
• Coordinate with administrative staff on schedules
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with a major in Indigenous Studies
• 1-2 years of relevant teaching or practical work experience
• Compliance with Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications
• Obtain necessary teaching approvals
• Experience in diverse cultural environments
Contribute to educating students in Indigenous Studies with Suncrest College in Yorkton.
