Suncrest College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Indigenous Studies & Culture and Diversity Instructor. This is a term position from September 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027 (120 total contract hours), at our Yorkton campus. This instructor would be primarily responsible for the face-to-face delivery of INDG 100 (Introduction to Indigenous Studies) and CLTR 200 (Culture and Diversity) within a variety of post-secondary programs.
Classes take place on weekdays between the hours of 9:0am and 4:00pm. We offer some flexibility in our programming schedules and are committed to working with the right candidate to develop an arrangement that meets both their needs and those of the program.
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Bachelors degree with a major in Indigenous Studies.
- The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is two years (within the last five years) of recent/relevant business/industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience
- Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and receive necessary approval.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
