We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer & Cybersecurity Consultant to design, implement, and secure our enterprise and industrial (OT) network infrastructure. This role will lead network architecture initiatives, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and support the integration of IT and manufacturing systems. The consultant will assess current infrastructure, identify risks, and implement scalable, secure solutions aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls)
- Lead network upgrades, segmentation (IT/OT), and performance optimization
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and unauthorized access
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443)
- Support incident response planning, investigation, and remediation
- Secure industrial systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI) in a manufacturing environment
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams on system integration
- Provide documentation, reporting, and staff guidance/training
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering and/or cybersecurity
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs)
- Hands‑on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security
- Experience with cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance frameworks
- Ability to design and implement secure network architectures
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial (OT) environments
- Familiarity with SCADA, PLCs, and industrial control systems
- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CISM, or Security+
- Knowledge of cloud and hybrid network environments
