As an Industrial Packaging Operator, you'll help ensure high-quality products are packaged efficiently and safely. You'll operate packaging lines including automated and semi-automated bagging systems, palletizers, flour lines, and toting equipment delivering excellence every time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate packaging equipment (bagging lines, tote lines, palletizers, labelers, etc.)
  • Monitor/test processes at metal detector control points
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and read control screens
  • Set up and calibrate lines, ensure materials are stocked, perform quality and coding checks
  • Complete daily documentation (volumes, summaries, operations)
  • Use WOW inventory/handheld systems to scan and track orders
  • Support sanitation and follow all food safety guidelines
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with complex packaging lines preferred
  • Food manufacturing/packaging experience an asset
  • Forklift certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
  • Must read, write, and speak English
  • Able to lift 50 lbs, work 12-hour shifts, and perform physical tasks
  • Comfortable with heights and exposure to allergens (e.g., grain dust)
