• Operate a variety of packaging equipment including automated baggage line, semi-automated tote packaging lines, palletizers, ink jet labelers, check weighers, and metal detectors
• Monitor and test processes at metal detectors critical control points
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and interpret equipment control screens
• Set up and calibrate lines for a variety of products, ensuring packaging materials are stocked, perform quality checks and coding checks
• Complete daily documentation of packing volumes, packaging summaries, and packing operations
• Use the "WOW" inventory system and handheld system to scan and track production and update orders
• Support sanitation efforts and follow all food safety guidelines

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledgeable and capable of operating complex packaging lines
• Previous experience in food manufacturing / packaging may be preferred
• Troubleshooting skills are an asset
• Must hold or be willing to hold a valid Sask. forklift operator certificate
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Strong computer skills (word, excel, data entry, etc.)
• Must have the ability to perform physical tasks repetitively such as climbing ladders/stairs and lift 50lbs and working 12 hr. shifts
• Must be able to work in a grain processing environment which exposes staff to allergens such as, but not limited to, grain and grain dust
• Must be comfortable in working with heights
