We are seeking passionate, detail-focused individuals to join our team as an Assistant Miller.

The Assistant Miller plays a key role in our milling process, operating the A and B Mill while ensuring product quality and safety. Duties include kiln production, groat and steel cut grading, secondary grading systems, operating colour sorters, record keeping, sanitation, planning, and communication. This position supports safety, quality, efficiency, and company goals.

• Adjust equipment and conduct product testing to maximize yield and quality
• Ensure compliance with Gluten-Free product handling and guidelines
• Monitor kiln as a food safety preventative control measure
• Document production data in computerized systems
• Perform maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate across departments for smooth operations
• Support sanitation and safe working conditions

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Milling or processing experience an asset
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain equipment
• Familiarity with Gluten-Free compliance preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
• Able to work safely in dusty, hot/cold, noisy environments and at heights or confined spaces

Hours of Work: 12-hour modified shift schedule, including weekends and nights.
