Industrial Packaging Operator

Become an Industrial Packaging Operator with Grain Millers, located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. This 5-month term position involves operating automated and semi-automated packaging lines and conducting quality checks.

As part of the Industrial Packing team, you will operate various packing lines, including automated and semi-automated systems. This role requires completing paperwork for packing activities, including data entry into inventory systems. Collaborating with team members for daily tasks is also essential to maintain workflow and efficiency in our grain processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate automated and semi-automated packaging lines

• Conduct metal detector tests and quality checks

• Complete packing activity paperwork accurately

• Assist teammates with daily packaging tasks

• Maintain safety protocols concerning allergens

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience in food manufacturing preferred

• Valid Sask. forklift operator certificate needed

• Strong communication and organizational skills essential

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts
