Industrial Packaging Operator at Grain Millers

Take on an essential role in our team as an Industrial Packaging Operator with Grain Millers in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. This permanent position requires 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.

As an operator in our Industrial Packing team, you will manage various lines in our warehouse, including automated bagging and palletizing systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting metal detector tests and managing inventory paperwork, ensuring the highest quality standards within our food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate automated and semi-automated packaging lines

• Conduct metal detector tests per GMP standards

• Complete packing activity paperwork accurately

• Assist team members with daily tasks as needed

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and equipment operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in food manufacturing or packaging preferred

• Valid forklift operator certificate required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to lift 50lbs and work at heights
