At Grain Millers, we are a trusted leader in the food production industry, and we’re looking for passionate individuals for our Retail Forklift Operator role. The position involves safely operating forklifts, managing packaging material transfers, and documenting inventory using our systems. You’ll ensure compliance with safety standards every day to maintain our legacy of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate electric and propane forklifts in the facility
• Complete pre-shift inspections of all forklift equipment
• Transport packaging materials to and from packing lines
• Maintain required documentation in the inventory system
• Sanitize work areas and perform daily cleanup tasks
Requirements:
• GED 12 or equivalent
• 0-6 months of relevant experience
• Understanding of safety and food handling procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot minor forklift issues
• Commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
