Yorkton Public Health Nurse - Part-Time

The Public Health Nurse collaborates with the Manager of Public Health Nursing to provide key services geared toward population health. This role is marked by the ability to make independent, informed decisions based on community health assessments. Engage with various health personnel to ensure effective implementation of health programs and preventive strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential nursing services in community settings

• Assess and evaluate public health needs

• Design and execute health promotion programs

• Work alongside other healthcare professionals

• Champion community health initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

• Current Class 5 driver’s license

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)

• Registered or eligible with CRNS

• Immunization Competencies Course completion
