Meat Cutter

Full-time – Yorkton Food Store

You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:

• Cutting – Using knives, other carving tools and equipment to cut, fillet, and trim meats for our customers
• Merchandising – Ensuring counters and display cases are filled and merchandised
• Receiving – Receive, inspect and store product
• General Meat Department Duties – Housekeeping, opening, closing, sanitization of meat room & equipment and assisting with inventory

You are interested in customer service and have:

• Retail Meat Specialist Certificate or Equivalent training & experience
• Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented and a drive to be the best in what you do
• Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends
• Belief in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions, and recognizing the value that different perspectives bring to meeting shared objectives
• Physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 Ibs, climb ladders and kneel
