Position: Security Personnel Needed School
The Good Spirit School Division is looking for a dedicated Security Person for Yorkton Regional High School. This role is crucial for ensuring safety and providing a secure environment for all.

As a Full-Time Security Person, you will monitor school grounds, assist students, and maintain order. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage incidents, ensuring respectful interactions at all times. You’ll engage with students while being vigilant about school safety and security procedures, reporting any infractions to maintain a safe educational space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol hallways and monitor washrooms for compliance

• Build trustworthy relationships with students for support

• Manage disruptive individuals with de-escalation techniques

• Monitor parking areas and ticket illegally parked vehicles

• Report safety incidents as students board school buses

Requirements:

• Familiarity with security protocols and effective monitoring

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Security Guard Certificate or License preferred

• Basic writing and computer skills necessary

• First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous
