Position: Yorkton Regional High School Security Role
Enhance student and staff safety as a Full-Time Security Person at Yorkton Regional High School with The Good Spirit School Division. Provide vigilant monitoring and foster positive relationships.

This permanent Security Person position is essential for maintaining security and order within the school. You will develop respectful relationships with students while successfully managing any disruptive situations. Your ability to communicate effectively and respond to incidents will directly contribute to a safe learning environment. The role includes patrol duties and monitoring of school facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish positive relationships to assist in crisis de-escalation

• Patrol grounds and check facilities for safety compliance

• Manage incidents involving disruptive individuals

• Enforce parking regulations and ticket violators

• Observe and report on traffic safety as students board buses

Requirements:

• Knowledge of security operations and protocol

• Strong communication and decision-making skills

• Ability to conduct thorough patrols

• Valid Security Guard Certificate or License a plus

• First Aid/CPR certificate is an asset
