PRAIRIE HARVEST COMMUNITY CENTRE - BRUNO'S PLACE is hiring two Casual Shelter Workers for vital support roles. This position emphasizes working with individuals facing addiction and mental health issues. Proficiency in computer skills, cleanliness, basic food prep, and laundry duties are essential. Knowledge of First Aid/CPR is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with shelter residents during 12-hour shifts

• Keep the shelter environment clean and safe

• Prepare and serve simple meals for guests

• Manage laundry and maintenance of bedding

• Provide First Aid responses when necessary

Requirements:

• Must have strong English language skills

• Experience with mental health or addiction support preferred

• Availability for overnight and weekend shifts

• Willingness to work on short notice as needed

• Ability to adapt to various situations in the shelter
