Warehouse Clerk

Join Townsend Tree Service as a Warehouse Clerk and support our supply chain by efficiently receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment. The position reports to a Manager, is hourly, non‑exempt, and ensures accurate inventory management and safe warehouse operations.

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and record data in the inventory system.
• Inspect goods for damage, quality, and accuracy; report any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Organize and label products, keeping the warehouse clean and hazard‑free.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment safely and perform pre‑/post‑operation inspections.
• Communicate with coworkers, drivers, and supervisors to coordinate daily operations.
• Participate in safety training and audits, ensuring compliance with protocols.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Meet all physical requirements of the position.
• Pass drug and alcohol screening; valid work authorization in the United States.
• Legal age 18 (21 if CDL required). Willingness to travel occasionally.
