Our primary goal is to make sure that the end-of-life experience is as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Beyond alleviating pain and symptoms, we emphasize emotional health and a harmonious mindset. Likewise, we address the spiritual and social needs of family members both during and after the end-of-life period. Our Harmony Volunteers are an essential part of that mission, providing support in a variety of ways.

Our Administrative Volunteers provide clerical support in our Youngstown offices. Volunteer activities available....

• Filing
• Data entry
• Making packets for hospice patients
• Answering phones
• Mailing bereavement literature to hospice families
• Organizing hospice supplies
• Calling patients and families
• And so much more!

Qualifications

• Availability of time and skills that pertain to the volunteer activity
• Maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and take directions well

Time commitment

• Must be able to volunteer at the times of your choosing between the office hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday
