Hygiene Assistant

Base pay range: $14.00/hr - $16.00/hr.

$500 Sign On Bonus! (One‑time)

Monday through Thursday: 8am–5pm
Friday: 8am–12pm

• Provides excellent chair‑side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
• Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
• Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X‑rays, and other required certifications and registrations.

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on‑the‑job training.
• 1‑5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
• Radiography/X‑Ray certification for respective state.
• CPR Certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
