Dentist – Northeast Ohio Correctional CenterDental care in a correctional setting is challenging and rewarding. It offers opportunities for dentists to sharpen clinical skills, utilize cutting‑edge technology, and actively manage patients free from many bureaucratic processes found in traditional health‑care settings.
Qualifications and Responsibilities- Provide professional dental care for inmates.
- Perform general dentistry including examinations, x‑rays, fillings, and extractions.
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for inmates.
- Develop, coordinate, and supervise the facility dental program, advising and instructing inmates on dental disease prevention.
- Hold an active Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Surgery Ohio license with DEA and BLS.

About the FacilityNortheast Ohio Correctional Center is located on the Ohio/Pennsylvania border in Youngstown, OH. The facility houses US Marshal and Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction male inmates and has a 24‑hour clinic with a mental health department, medical department, and dental department.
