Cardiologist, Medical Doctor
Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a motivated and capable board eligible or board-certified Cardiologists to join a world class division of Heart & Vascular Services.
Focus:
Clinical cardiology with a mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage
- Includes echo stress and cardiac imaging as appropriate to training and interest
Requirements:
- Completed fellowship in Cardiology or Interventional Cardiology
- Board Eligible or Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine
Collaborative Team:
- Largest and growing practice in the region
- 15 employed cardiologists, including 5 interventional cardiologists and 3 EP specialists
- 13 advanced practice clinicians supporting care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Opportunity to join a well-established and growing team with supportive work environment
- Includes 3 board-certified Cardiothoracic surgeons and 4 board-certified vascular surgeons
Practice Locations:
- 3 locations, serving 3 hospitals in the tri-county area
Case Volume:
- High volume of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases annually
- Over 300 cardiac cases (excluding TAVR) expected this year
Hospital Features:
- Level 1 trauma center
- Certified stroke center
- Chest pain certified with PCI
- Only sepsis center of excellence in Ohio
