Overview
Aviation Maintenance Instructor at Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) – Youngstown campus. This role offers daytime hours with no weekend commitments. Teaching experience is a plus, but not required, as instructional training is provided.
Base pay range$55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
ScheduleRegular hours are Monday–Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
Qualifications- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- 3+ years of verifiable aviation industry or military aviation experience
- Teaching experience is ideal, but not required; training is provided
- Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods
Conduct classroom presentations; guide students in the laboratory for hands-on instruction and practice; manage laboratory equipment and inventory; and evaluate student performance. A full job description will be provided during the interview process.
