RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee all pharmacy operations and provide leadership to pharmacy staff.
  • Review and assess all medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems.
  • Conduct drug utilization reviews and evaluate interactions for every prescription.
  • Provide clear, accurate medication counseling and education to patients and staff.
  • Maintain designated weekly clinical hours outside the pharmacy to participate in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for pharmacy-related concerns and operational issues.
  • Perform monthly audits, including documentation review, inventory management, and 340B compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, leadership, and external partners.
  • Prepare operational and compliance reports as assigned.
  • Participate in hiring processes by interviewing and recommending pharmacy staff candidates in coordination with leadership
Requirements
  • Valid, unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
