Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist – St. Elizabeth Hospital

Responsibilities- Perform duties for any two imaging modalities (e.g., XR, CT, MRI).
- Meet continuing education or clinical requirements per regulatory standards.
- Operate equipment, accessories, and follow workflows for the two modalities.
- Select appropriate imaging sequences following approved protocols.
- Obtain patient clinical history and documentation, and administer lab work via POC device as needed.
- Apply safety principles to minimize radiation and other modality-specific risks.
- Provide radiation protection and other protective measures.
- Verify patient identification using two identifiers.
- Perform venipuncture and/or administer medications/contrast if required by modalities.
- Use power injector for medication administration following manufacturer guidelines.
- Scheduled for on‑call duties as required.
- Certification and registration with ARRT, RDMS or CNMT.
- Competent in two modalities with certification within 12 months (e.g., CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, etc.).
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology or Ultrasound (preferred).
- One year of experience in a healthcare environment (preferred).
- Proficiency with EPIC EHR, PACS, RIS and IV contrast administration (preferred).
- BLS at hire (required for certain locations).
