Clinical Social Worker

Jewish Family & Community Services (JFCS) is a non‑profit social‑services agency in Youngstown, Ohio, providing programs such as guardian ships, counseling, and case management. JFCS has served the community for decades and is a respected member of the Youngstown human‑services network.

We are seeking a compassionate clinical social worker to provide counseling, case management, and program support to individuals and families in our community.

• Provide individual and family counseling primarily on‑site.
• Conduct mental health assessments, create treatment plans, and provide counseling treatment to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
• Facilitate group work for various populations as needed.
• Meet agency record‑keeping standards.
• Assist in the ongoing CARF accreditation process.
• Ensure HIPAA and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned as necessary.

• Master’s degree in social work (required).
• Currently licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Therapist board as an MSW or LISW.
• Previous counseling experience preferred.
• Ability to work with all ages and backgrounds.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and active vehicle insurance.
• Candidacy must pass an FBI/BCI background check and drug testing.
