HowYou’ll Contribute
The Therapist is responsible for providing psychotherapy and counseling therapies, including group, individual, and family therapy for patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Accurate and timely patient documentation is essential.
A Therapist Who Excels In This Role- Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
- Displays active involvement in treatment planning processes.
- Provides family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.
- Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources, demonstrating proactive communication with those involved in the patient's treatment.
- Works well with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members, demonstrating active communication with team members.

- Education:
Master’s degree in social work or counseling or relevant state licensure required. - Experience:
Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
