As a medical assistant you will assist in the delivery of care for adult and pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provides clinical support to providers by preparing patients for medical examinations and documenting key information into EHR system.
- Educate patients on prenatal and chronic disease management under provider direction.
- Perform clinical tasks such as administering medications, diagnostic testing, and assisting with treatments under provider supervision.
- Execute essential skills, including blood pressure readings, EKGs, lab test, vision test and specimen collection.
- Ensure timely patient care by rooming patients promptly and monitoring wait times.
- Maintain and sterilize equipment, monitor tracking systems and adhere to OSHA and infection control policies.
- Schedule referrals, manage phone messages, and coordinate prescription calls under provider guidance.
- Contribute to a clean, safer work environment.
- Other duties as assigned, up to and including travel to other locations that may be required.
- Medical Assistant school diploma/certification.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
- BLS CPR Certification

- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
- Communication skills using the spoken word.
- Ability to see within normal parameters.
- Ability to hear within normal range.
- Ability to frequently move about.
