Schedule:PRN
The position is on a PRN schedule. Eligible pharmacists will be available to provide pharmaceutical and medication management services on an as‑needed basis, in support of the hospital pharmacy team and clinical staff.

HowYou’ll Contribute
The Pharmacist works in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy in delivering pharmaceutics and medication management throughout the hospital in accordance with the legal, ethical, and professional standards of pharmacy practice.
Responsibilities include:
the- participation of performance improvement plans, consulting with administration, medical staff, and hospital staff on quality, regulatory and risk issues, providing clinical education, and assisting in all pharmacy operations.
- Fills orders with correct medication and checks support staff accuracy prior to medication release.
- Prioritizes work to prepare STAT, Now, and Waiting orders by importance.
- Reviews patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy; prevents therapeutic duplication, significant drug interactions, and avoidable adverse drug reactions related to allergies or clinical parameters.
- Consults on maintenance and dissemination of drug information through in‑service education of hospital personnel.
- Assists other pharmacists and technicians in routine duties as necessary and directs activities of pharmacy personnel with professional and technical guidance.
- Prepares unit‑of‑use dosage when possible.
- Keeps the Director informed of workload status and potential problems.
- Proficient in the range of treatments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients served by the hospital.

- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharm
D or equivalent degree. - Licensing / Certification: Current state license in good standing.
- Experience: Previous experience in a behavioral health hospital highly preferred.
