Job Description

This field‑based role is available across multiple Ohio cities. Candidates from various locations are encouraged to apply. The Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist (ULS CAS) provides technical and clinical product support to healthcare providers—including Electrophysiology (EP) physicians, Interventional Cardiologists (IC), and laboratory staff—for advanced cardiac ablation and interventional procedures, with emphasis on Acu Nav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to EP/IC physicians and staff on Acu Nav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters.
  • Deliver training on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment (e.g., CARTO® System, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, Stockert RF generator) during case procedures.
  • Educate customers on all electrophysiology products, sharing technical and clinical information to optimize usage.
  • Use consultative selling techniques to identify sales opportunities within the account.
  • Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitate Territory Sales Manager contact with key decision makers.
  • Maximize customer case support through proper planning and scheduling.
  • Maintain consistent, open communication with internal partners (regional teams, EP CAS, ULS CAS, Marketing, FSE, RBD) and external partners.
  • Develop and share best practices with field sales and service colleagues.
  • Stay current on product instructions for use, best practices, and scientific literature.
  • Prioritize and respond to requests in a high‑stress environment while maintaining composure.
  • Engage in diagnostic dialogue with business partners to formulate solutions.
  • Provide mentoring for new electrophysiology team members as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant professional/military experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab.
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography.
  • Advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge of technology, advancements, and the business landscape.
  • Clinical knowledge of healthcare industry, disease states, and therapeutic trends.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% overnight (local, regional, national).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work variable hours in a hospital laboratory setting, including wearing protective gear.
  • May be required to lift up to 60 lbs.
Strongly Preferred
  • Experience in Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry.
  • Certifications such as CEPS (IBHRE), RCES/RCIS.
  • Experience with highly complex technical systems in a critical patient care setting.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of the patient care team.
  • Self‑starter who performs well with autonomy and flexibility.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving in high‑pressure environments.
  • Collaboration and responsiveness to feedback.
  • Able to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights.
  • Hunger for learning and skill development.
Compensation

Base salary range: $83,000.00 – $

Eligible for a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Position is eligible for a company car via the FLEET program. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, legal insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and various time‑off benefits (vacation, sick time, holiday pay, family time, etc.).
