University Professor
Teaches courses within the Healthcare Administration program and related curricula.
Involvement in all aspects of didactic and practical instruction as needed.
Assists with student recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
Fosters a positive and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Remains current regarding advancements in the field of Healthcare Administration and related disciplines to integrate relevant information into the curricula.
Collaborates with colleagues to enhance the overall academic experience and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.
Monitors student progress, advise students, record grades/academic progress, and submit reports as requested.
Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

- Certification as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); m ust be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- At least a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Certified as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Practical/industry experience in the professional discipline
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Previous teaching experience at the college/community college level
- Previous experience as a program director in healthcare administration or related academic programs at the college/community level.
